IN TODAY’S Business Daily…
- Balance sheet allows you to see what a company owns as well as what it owes to other parties as of the date indicated at the top of the balance sheet
- The reason I really like to look at a balance sheet is because you can see some really important financial ratios and statistics that you can generate from looking at the numbers
- The balance sheet presents a company’s financial position at the end of a specified date. Some actually describe the balance sheet as a “snapshot” of the company’s financial position at the point which you produced the balance sheet
CHALLENGE FOR THE DAY:
What can you do today to make sure you understand your business better by knowing the way your balance sheet works?
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“The balance sheet is all about understanding about things you own or owe in the business.”
